Established in 1996, Greener Pastures Veterinary Service is a full-service veterinary practice serving the needs of large and small animal clients in Meadville and Saegertown, and throughout the Crawford County area.
Located in Saegertown, Pennsylvania, our 7,500 square foot, state-of-the-art animal hospital (established in 2003) is fully equipped to serve the small animal community as well as our equine and dairy clients.
Our entire team shares one common goal – Exceptional Veterinary Medicine in a compassionate and caring environment.
Greener Pastures understands that animals touch our lives and, in some cases, provide our livelihood. In every case, you can entrust with us your animal’s care and well being.

OUR SERVICES
Routine Exams
Give your pets the best care, from Puppy/Kitten Programs through Senior Health Screenings, to ensure their best quality of life.

We also provide dental services as an important part of your dog, cat or horse's health.
We understand how important timely veterinary care is to the farming industry. Our mobile units provide care to many farms throughout NE Ohio and NW Pennsylvania.

Diagnostics
Our in-house laboratory provides fast and accurate diagnosis of many medical conditions, allowing for prompt treatment.

Some of our diagnostic capabilities include blood and urine testing, portable and on-site digital radiography, portable and on-site ultrasound and electrocardiogram (ECG).

Our in-house pharmacy ensures the proper medications are available to treat your hospitalized pet or to be sent home at diagnosis.
Surgery
Our surgical suite is equipped to handle a wide range of surgical procedures from routine spays and neuters to more advanced soft tissue and orthopedic procedures.

Our surgical laser provides many benefits to our patients, such as less bleeding and less pain and swelling, leading to a faster recovery.

Your pet is closely monitored by a veterinary technician using cardiac and oxygen monitors throughout recovery.

Rehabilitation and Chiropractic
We have a certified rehabilitation practitioner to work with your pet to help them recover from injuries, surgeries, weight issues and other ailments. We also have chiropractic care available.
Mobile Farm Care
Our fleet of mobile vet units are fully equipped to bring quality veterinary care directly to your farm. In addition to traditional medical and surgical care for farm animals, we are committed to improving herd health, productivity and profitability.
Emergency Care
Our established clients can enjoy peace of mind, knowing that one of our doctors is always on call for emergencies, even when our office is closed.
